Everybody is a HERO

Everyone knows what's happening here in The Philippines. Well, if you don't know yet, it's been raining non-stop here. Dams have already overflowed, houses destroyed by the strong water current and people losing their loved ones.

To my Filipino followers who are in the safety of their homes, let’s do our part to help our fellow citizens. If you have extra clothes, food, toiletries, anything at all that these people could use, please donate them.

Some Bloggers teamed up to help send out donations and relief goods. You can drop off your donations at Moon Leaf Tea Shop Maginhawa.

There are SM Malls almost everywhere. If you can get to one, please drop off your donations there. Here’s a list of drop-off points at SM Supermalls. Or at the nearest school.

Check the unified hashtag #reliefPH on Twitter to see which organizations and institutions closest to your location need your help. If you are capable of rescuing stranded people, please check the unified hashtag for #rescuePH. And while we’re at it, let’s also trend #rebuildPH, suggest ways to the government on how we can avoid this extent of calamity in the future

If you want to donate directly to the Philippine Red Cross, you can do so by clicking here. Smart subscribers may send donations to Red Cross via SMS.
Text RED < amount > to 4143.
For Globe Gcash users, text DONATE < amount > MPIN SLB and send to 2882 (e.g. DONATE 100 1234 SLB)
You can donate the following denominations:
Globe: 5, 25, 100, 300, 500 or 1000
Smart: 10, 25, 50, 100, 300, 500 or 1000.

If you’re not in the Philippines but would like to donate a substantial amount of money to Red Cross, please do so. Even just a dollar will go a long way. Their Paypal e-mail address is fundgeneration@redcross.org.ph (or visit http://www.redcross.org.ph/donate)

KEEP SAFE AND GOD BLESS!
