So, I just finished reading this epic book by John Green. And I can't seem to absorb how breathtaking it is. I'm such a sucker for anything inspirational and this is just mind-blowing. I also read that they will be releasing the movie version soon. Let's just wish that the movie will be as legendary as the book. *fingers-crossed*

Onto my outfit... If you'd take away the accessories and all those shizz, you'll see a plain and boring outfit. But that's the deal, being the lazy person that I am, I would at times be really unconcerned with what I'm wearing and I thank the people who  artistically created pieces (and i'm talking about accessories) to help someone like me. HAHAHA. 

Can we all take a moment and just stare at this masterpiece??? I mean, c'mon! This is like finding that perfect shoe or piece of clothing you've been dying to have! Hahaha. 

And yes, the bag is an envelope clutch and a sling bag in one! You'll definitely see this bag in this bloggy for a million more times.

It's A Cycle

I love it when I get awesome pieces from my mum's or grandmother's closet! Yes, you read that right! I actually borrowed (or maybe stole :P) this from one of 'em. I actually don't know who owns this, all I know is that I love it. If it isn't obvious, fashion is a cycle. Trends from the past will definitely make a come back in the present world, we just don't know when, but it will. Just take denim for example. This has been around for a really long time, but it's still here, and this (our) generation is actually loves it. Do you agree with me? :)

I actually wore this ensemble to a day out with my best buds! I can say that I wore the right outfit! We tried Iscreamist! T'was my first time to try it, and I can say that everyone should, too! It's amazing and fun! Then we went to UP to play Duck Pins! Found a new favorite place. ♥

Beat The Heat

Can the temperature get higher? I just wish it won't. I love summer but the intense heat can be really stressful and irritating. So, to beat the heat, I make sure that I wear comfy clothes. By comfy, I mean light colored clothes and not too thick ones too. :)

I know, I know! I'm in my usual tank top + shorts combo, but hey! This kimono top really helped put this whole outfit together! C'mon! Without the help of this kimono, this outfit would've looked (for the lack of better term) simple. 

You might be wondering why I have make-up on and just look made-up in general. Well, these photos were shot the same day we had our graduation pictures taken.

The Heat is On

How are y'all doing? Oh my gosh, I missed this! Been MIA for almost 2 weeks and I wish this madness would end real soon. Been blessed with lots of things, but I feel really sorry for not having time to even blog about even the simplest stuff. But hey, I try to post updates on my twitter and Instagram. Follow me @thejjjaaaccc on both platforms. Oh and summer is here and the heat is definitely paying us a visit again. Perfect time to don your favorite shorts and breezy tops. :)

Anyway, enough of that! Well, I'm back (I think)! HAHAHA. On to my outfit, wore this ensemble to a quick shoot with Nail It!  A button-up top + lace shorts + loafers will never fail you! Well, it always works for me. :) Still trying to inject colors into my closet. Don't you just love the color of my shorts? And don't get me started with the material! Lace brings out the girly in me! ♥

Accascuse Me

If it isn't obvious, I still have the "PPH" (Pitch Perfect Hangover). And this post was inspired from that accaawesome movie. If you haven't watched the movie yet, you're missing a lot! HAHAHA. I don't know, there's something about it that's so fun to watch. (I think I've watched it 5491984 times. :P) Anyway, this is my take on the movie's lead character, Beca (Anna Kendrick). If you've noticed, she's always in flannel tops and the like. Her outfits are also usually dark-colored. 

As for my outfit, I wanted to drift away from the "dark side" and add some colors, hence the blue shorts and red belt. 

If this isn't "Beca" enough (well, I hope it is), don't you worry, I have another post coming. And yes, it's also Beca-inspired. See how addicted I am to Pitch Perfect? Oh and don't get me started with Jesse  (Skylar Astin) and his accaawesomeness. ♥

Electric Blue

Is it just me or is Chilly Manila gone? Where did it go? It left us when we asked it to stay, and it came when we didn't even ask it to. HAHAHA. Lol, whuuut? Pardon my cuh-raay-zee mind. Oh well, let's just be contented with what we have, alright? If we are good with that, then I think we can proceed to my outfit post. :)

If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter (@thejjjaaaccc on both platforms), then you might have seen my post that says that I'm back to my first love: NEUTRALS! There is really something nice about things in neutral colors, it's really relaxing and pleasing to the eyes. 

Neutral colored clothes are really easy to style, play around with and best to use when experimenting. But in this post, I chose to turn things up a bit by wearing my soon-to-die-because-its-so-overused electric blue flats.Can you blame me? They're just too comfortable and chic. O.O

You don't usually see me wear skirts, but when I do, it's either I have to or I just love the skirt a lot, in this case, it's the latter. Well, who wouldn't? The print is super pretty and the material used is just...❤. It leaves me speechless. HAHAHA. Oh and this used to belong to Kryz Uy, I bought this during Bloggers United 4.

Bliss

Have you been experiencing a blissful life? (This question is answerable by yes and of course!) :) I would love it if the world would suddenly feel all carefree and excited. Happiness comes from within. So, to feel genuinely happy, you should have a heart that would look forward to seeing the sunlight after a gloomy day. Omit the negative and focus on the positive! Are we clear with that? HAHAHA. 

Okay, okay. Enough of the "happiness" stuff. So, I actually wore this cozy outfit to do some errands and last-minute stuff. What could go wrong with a cropped top and shorts? :) Ms. Comfy is (definitely) back! 

Manila's weather has been really shocking! Mornings are now colder than ever (which makes getting-out-of-bed, harder than the usual). And don't get me started with night-time! I'm not complaining, I actually wish this weather would stay with us up to March! Then give way to...SUMMER! 

Bought these electric blue babies during my recent trip to Malaysia. I actually have another pair in black. :)
